Products¶
Products are the items people can order from Picsha DAM, such as print sizes. Click Add New Product and fill in:
- Name, Description, Price ($), Weight (oz) and Sort Order.
- Width and Height in thousandths of an inch: enter 4 inches as 4000.
- Tags, separated by commas.
- Image Fit: Fit (letterbox) shows the whole image, Crop (fill) fills the product.
- Photo Suitable and Document Suitable: which kinds of files the product can be ordered for.
- Specialty Product and Active. Inactive products can't be ordered.
Click the Finishing link on a product to set up finishing options. Add a finish group (for example "Surface"), turn on Must Select if the customer has to choose one, then add options with a name, price, and one default per group. Click Save Changes.
Product Groups¶
Product groups bundle products, for example "Small" and "Large" prints. Click Add New Product Group, enter a Group Name, tick the Products in it, optionally mark it as the Default Group, and save. Groups refer to products by name, so if a product is renamed or deleted, the group's form warns that it will be dropped on the next save.
Graphics Services¶
Graphics services are the creative services customers can order, such as design or a photo session. Each service has a Service Name, a Type (for example Design, Multimedia, Graphics, Photo Session, Passport or Other), a Sort Order, and a list of Subservices with a unit price each. A service name can repeat across types but not within one. Deleting a service also deletes its subservices.
Frames and Stickers¶
Frames (PNG files) and stickers (SVG files) are offered in the photo editors in Picsha DAM and Picsha Lab. Click Add New Frame or Add New Sticker, choose the file, and save. The aspect ratio is worked out for you. Use Visibility (@mentions) to offer an item only to certain groups or people, or leave it empty for everyone. Turn off Active to stop offering it. To replace an image, delete the item and add it again.
