The order queue

How many orders are shown

The dropdown next to the Orders heading sets how many of the most recent orders are loaded: 10, 20, 50 (the default), 100 or All. Filters and sorting apply to the orders that are loaded, so if you are looking for an older order, choose a larger number or All.

Card and List views

Use the Card and List buttons to switch views.

  • Card view (the default) shows one tile per order with the order number, the number of jobs, the status, who placed it, the date and time it was placed, and the ordering office. Click a tile to open the order in the Order Details and Order Preview panels.
  • List view shows the orders as a table with the columns OrderID, Type, Date Submitted, Status, Placed By, Ordering Office, Due Date, Date Shipped and Date Billed. List view hides the Order Details and Order Preview panels; switch back to Card to work on an order.

Filtering and sorting

Click the funnel icon (Filter & Sort Orders) to open the Show Orders panel.

  • Status: tick the statuses you want to see. By default the queue shows orders that still need work: Submitted, Harvested, Error Printing, Printed OK and Rework. To find a completed, cancelled or on-hold order, tick its status or click Select All.
  • Fulfiller: leave ANY ticked to see every order, or untick it and choose specific fulfillers. Orders without a fulfiller are hidden when ANY is unticked.
  • Location: works the same way as Fulfiller, using your organization's locations.
  • Sort Orders: choose a Primary Sort and Secondary Sort from Date Placed, Priority, Fulfiller and Status, each Asc or Desc. The default is newest first (Date Placed, Desc), then Priority.

Click Close when you are done. Filter and sort choices reset when you reload the page.

Automatic refresh

The queue checks for changes every 10 seconds and refreshes itself when an order is placed or changed. You don't need to reload the page to see new orders.
