Browsing the library

Views and layout

  • Mosaic view shows images in rows that keep each image's shape. Hover over the (i) button on a tile to see its key details, such as rating, detected faces and objects.
  • Grid view shows square tiles with the file name, file type and star rating.
  • Condensed layout shows one continuous grid. Separated layout adds headings by date (for date sorts) or by first letter (for name sorts).

Use the Sort by menu to sort by File Name, Create Date or Upload Date, and the arrow next to it to reverse the order. Drag the thumbnail size slider to make tiles larger or smaller. Picsha remembers these choices.
Assets load 100 at a time as you scroll.
Tiles can show badges: Pending or Rejected for assets waiting for or refused approval, and a lock when someone has the asset checked out.

Selecting assets

  • Click a tile to select it; click again to deselect.
  • Ctrl-click (Cmd-click on a Mac) to add or remove a tile.
  • Shift-click to select a range.
  • Select All selects every asset loaded so far. Scroll further first if you need more.
  • Double-click a tile to open it.

On a phone or tablet, tap to open an asset and press and hold to select. Once something is selected, a tap adds or removes assets instead of opening them.

Rating from the grid

In Grid view, click a star to rate an asset from 1 to 5. Click the same star again to clear the rating.
