Sharing

Select assets and click Share. Inside an album you can share the whole album: an album share is live, so recipients see assets you add later, while sharing selected photos shares a fixed set.

  1. Enter a Title.
  2. Choose Private (only the people and groups you choose) or Public (anyone with the link).
  3. Choose when the share Stops working: never, or in 7, 30 or 90 days.
  4. For a private share, add Recipients as email addresses or @people and @groups, then click Share. Recipients must be members of your organization.
  5. For a public link, choose whether to Allow downloads and Allow comments, optionally set a Password (at least 4 characters), and click Create Link.
  6. Click Copy to copy the link.

Sharing doesn't change who can see the asset in the library; it gives the recipients their own view of it. Private shares appear under Shared with Me for the recipients, who must sign in to open them. To hide a share from your Shared with Me list, click its ×.
A public link opens a page with your organization's branding that anyone can view without signing in. Visitors can download files if you allowed it, and read comments if you turned comments on (posting a comment requires signing in). If you set a password, visitors must enter it first. Your organization may turn public links off, in which case only private sharing is available.
